Sara Palin is so Dumb...

This is so brilliant and simple. Here is a sample and if you feel inspired you can send in your own:

...she took an umbrella to see Purple Rain.

...she thought Boyz II Men was a day care center.

...she called Dan Quayle for a spell check.

...she thought a quarterback was the new tax refund.

...she sits on the tv and watches the couch.

...she thought soy milk was Spanish for I am milk.

Ha Ha - Brilliant! I hope she runs for President next time

Tina - Thanks!
Katie - Amen
99 - Yes I did, thanks for sharing the link though.
Quickroute - She said she will. Although, I know she is good for lots of comedic material she is still embarrasing and this time, the whole state of Alaska joined in on the embarrasing aspect. They elected a convicted felon to be their representative. What the hell is wrong with Alaska?

...she bought $150,000 worth of clothing from Neiman Marcus with the RNC's money and then tried to reach "Joe Sixpack."

(Sorry I don't have anything clever tonight.) :-)

As likely the only Republican friend of Franks (maybe not anymore, but I hope so!), I have to disagree that Sarah Palin is dumb. Albeit, she's far from being a political mastermind or born leader. It's clear, she wasn't ready to be anything other than the Govenor of Alaska. John McCain was remiss and foolish to have chosen her, especially when there was seemingly no political chemistry between the two of them, but is she dumb?...I don't think so. Not everybody is presidential material, not everybody has a plan that is based in genius and not everybody has the polish and charisma needed to connect with the masses. I believe she is above average intelligence, but she is way too polarizing to work on a national level and speaking for myself, a Republigan who leans towards the center and even left of center when it comes to social issues, I found her very unrelatable and ignorant to the issues that matter to me. So, again...dumb? -- No. Unqualified -- you betchya! Neither is mutually exclusive.

Hi Jess!

You are not my only Republican friend, just my only Republican friend that actually wrote to me on my blog.

Thank you!

I have been waiting for someone to write something intelligent from that side of the political spectrum.

Okay, so maybe dumb is not the perfect label for her. I might have to agree with you. I guess we may not know what her IQ level may be.

But unqualified, divisive, ignorant, and shallow are a few more labels that are more appropriate. When you put all those together it is very easy to just tack on the dumb label. However, I would not be so quick to actually call her smart. I have not seen proof of that yet.

I am sure that she will have plenty of time to show us in the years ahead though since she is the radical right's new plaything.

Maybe she should also get out more and see the world. A world leader should, at the very least, have traveled beyond the borders of their own country.

After that she could also brush up on the constitution (specifically the first amendment and how it calls for separation of church and state and freedom of the press); US Government's basic structure so she would know what building to show up to in the event she would actually win an election--like what the VP job actually entails for example; brush up on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; She should look up oil and gas lease and royalty information since she seemed not to know too much about that either.

I guess I am even wondering now how on earth she got to be governor. Also, I wonder how she herself thought that she was ready for that job. Just because you get tapped does not mean that you have to accept. She should have known that she was not ready for prime-time.
