A While back I had created a couple of posts that were very critical of the current Argentine administration´s handling of the current farm crisis. These posts made some people within my extended family very nervous.
This country has gone through some very dark times and the ghosts of those times are still around.
My own naivety has come to light on this one. I forgot temporarily that this isn´t Kansas anymore.
Out of respect for my family, the people that I represent, and my company, I decided to retract those posts. My apologies for those of you who read them and who even linked to them.
Now back to normal programing.

Nah, don't explain, Frank. Just delete this post, too, along with the comments and it'll be like nothing ever happened. Really. That's what I'd do.

Hi Argonaut, Barbara and Juan,
I know that it would be very easy to get out of my post that I was making a statement about freedom of press.
I think it is refreshing to see so many reporters going against the current Argentine administration. I wish the US reporters would have done that back when the WMD baloney was flying around.
I am part of a family now that remembers vividly what it was like to live under the military regime. These people have lived here there whole lives, and well, you only have to look at Argentina´s history to see that anything can happen at anytime.
It is out of respect for them that I do this.
I would rather discuss these particular topics with my friends and acquaintances over a beer or a coffee.
I hope you guys can understand (I know you already do Barbara)
